Job Description

Description *This role is contingent upon a contract award.* ICF is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to support an enterprise Salesforce services environment for a federal health client. This role will focus on requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, backlog management, user story development, acceptance criteria, UAT support, documentation, and release readiness for Salesforce applications and shared platform services. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, testers, architects, and operations teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable delivery requirements. This role requires the ability to work in a structured Agile environment, manage competing stakeholder priorities, and support modernization of enterprise Salesforce capabilities rather than simply documenting current\-state processes. This work supports an enterprise Salesforce environment that includes application development, shared platform services, integrations, operations and maintenance, release support, stakeholder onboarding, training, help desk coordination, and continuous improvement. The Business Analyst will help ensure requirements are well\-defined, traceable, testable, and aligned to business outcomes, security expectations, and production support needs. **Job Location:** This position is remote within the United States. Please note that ICF monitors employee work locations, restricts access from foreign locations and IP addresses, and prohibits the use of personal VPN connections. **What You’ll Be Doing** * Work with client stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, testers, and operations teams to gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements for Salesforce applications and shared services. * Translate stakeholder needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, requirements documentation, and supporting delivery artifacts. * Support backlog refinement by helping clarify priorities, identify dependencies, resolve ambiguity, and prepare user stories for development and testing. * Analyze current\-state business processes and identify opportunities to modernize workflows, reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and improve user experience. * Facilitate requirements sessions, stakeholder interviews, working sessions, demos, user group discussions, and review meetings. * Support Salesforce configuration and development teams by clarifying requirements, answering functional questions, and validating that delivered functionality meets acceptance criteria. * Coordinate with QA teams to support test planning, test case development, defect triage, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and production readiness. * Support release readiness activities, including requirements traceability, stakeholder communications, validation evidence, release notes, training inputs, and post\-release feedback. * Docum
