Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced, dependable bookkeeper to manage routine bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records. This flexible independent\-contractor position may be performed remotely, in our office, or through a combination of both. **Responsibilities may include:** * Recording and accurately categorizing financial transactions * Reconciling bank, credit card, and merchant\-processing accounts * Maintaining an accurate and current general ledger * Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable * Maintaining organized and secure digital financial records * Communicating discrepancies, concerns, and outstanding items promptly * Coordinating with company leadership, accountants, and other financial professionals as needed * Completing other mutually agreed\-upon bookkeeping tasks The scope of services may be updated in writing by mutual agreement. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Previous bookkeeping experience * Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel * Strong understanding of account reconciliation and general\-ledger practices * Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow\-through * Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality * Clear and timely communication * Experience supporting a healthcare or mobile\-service business is helpful but not required **Position Details:** * Part\-time, independent\-contractor position * Flexible schedule * Remote, in\-office, or hybrid work arrangement Flexible work from home options available.
