Our mission is simple: saving lives and restoring relationships by helping people get their lives back, and treating every individual with empathy and respect.POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Northpoint team, the Clinical Supervisor will provide face-to-face supervision and chart reviews for Washington state Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Associate employees. This person will provide clinical supervision to other staff seeking clinical endorsement, which will include both clinical consultation and administrative tasks. This person will review and sign off on chart documentation. The Clinical Supervisor will complete all documentation associated with these duties in a professional and timely manner.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Ensure all persons providing counseling services are functioning within their competent parameters and maintaining education to do soAudit charts for policy and procedure compliance, appropriate documentation and completion of all internal paperwork and documentsAssist and resource clinical team with needs for ongoing CEU requirementsCreate and deliver clinical competency trainings as neededAdhere to all company policies and proceduresMaintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures and standards of careOther clinically appropriate services and special projects as assignedQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:Master’s Degree in Mental Health, Social Sciences or other relevant field requiredMust hold Licensed Mental Health Counselor licensure in Washington state with supervisor credentialMust maintain applicable state licensure requirements at hire, and for the entire duration of employment3+ years of experience in relevant field requiredAbility to work with a diverse population and possess strong interpersonal skills and knowledge required for treating patients assignedMust hold strong personal boundaries and able to build rapport with patientsMust understand and adhere to the ethical standards of the respective licensure governing boardPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Excellent organizational abilitiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsAttention to detail and accuracyPatient service oriented (both internal and external)Creative and persistent problem solverAble to handle confidential material in a reliable mannerAbility to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of organizationStrong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations and confidential informationAbility to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systemsThis job description is not intended, and should not be construed, to be exhaustive lists of all responsibilities, skills, efforts or working conditions associated with this job.
